To be able to save people in real situations, every day, soldiers of the Rescue Team of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department No. 8 (Hanoi Fire Prevention and Rescue Police) practice regardless of rain or shine. With the spirit of "sweat on the training ground, bleed less on the battlefield", each soldier must overcome many challenges in terms of expertise as well as physical strength.
Not only fire fighting, but also in rescue work, there are many other cases: traffic accidents, collapsed houses and buildings, drowning people, rescue in special conditions (smoke, toxic gas, lack of oxygen, in narrow spaces), firefighters must skillfully apply all skills.

Every morning at 8:30, officers and soldiers of Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 8 spend time practicing and preparing for all rescue situations. |

Practice climbing ropes and walls into tall buildings. |

The training was carefully prepared from equipment, people to location. Due to the lack of a real location, the room had to temporarily borrow a 5-storey building under construction. |

Climbing walls with ropes is done in cases of fire, rescuing people in houses and apartments with an average height of 10-15m. Each soldier climbing the wall needs at least 2 people below to support. |

The rope climbing scene is precarious in mid-air. |

As difficult as it is to climb up the rope, it is equally tiring to come down. |

For the rope descent, the person holding onto the rope and going against the wall from top to bottom must have nerves of steel. |

Captain Do Van Chien (Deputy Head of Rescue Team of Fire Police Department and Rescue Department No. 8) observed and guided his teammates to climb the rope. |

Young soldier Dinh Van Truong (22 years old) has 2 years of experience in rope climbing. |

Major Khuc Nguyen Khanh, Head of the Rescue Team of Fire Police Department No. 8, said that regardless of rain or shine, winter or summer, the team practices and is ready to take on missions. |
