Seized 435 kg of foul-smelling animal organs
(Baonghean.vn) - Traffic Police Station 5-1 under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said that it has handed over 7 Styrofoam boxes containing 435kg of foul-smelling animal organs seized from a truck traveling North-South to the Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for handling and destruction.
At around 1:00 a.m. on April 9, the working group of Traffic Police Station 5-1 (located in Dien Hong Commune, Dien Chau District) working at Km 418, National Highway 1A (section through Dien Hong Commune) discovered a truck with license plate 29H-080.53, driven by Pham Van Tri Em (born in 1979, residing in Ben Tre Province) with many suspicious signs.
The working group signaled and requested the vehicle to stop for inspection.

During the inspection, the working group discovered 7 foam boxes containing 435 kg of animal organs that smelled bad and had no quarantine documents.
According to the initial confession of driver Tri Em, the above organs were transported from Thanh Tri district (Hanoi) to Ho Chi Minh City for consumption when they were discovered and arrested.
Currently, Traffic Police Station 5-1, Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province is continuing to coordinate with relevant agencies to clarify and handle the above incident.
