Nearly 100kg of internal organs seized on the way to the mountainous region of Nghe An for consumption
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial Police Department's Environmental Police Department has just discovered a case of transporting nearly 100kg of animal organs of unknown origin on the way to be sold.
Accordingly, at around 12:00 on May 12, at Thang Long Street, in Hamlet 18, Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City, working group 3, Environmental Police Department coordinated with the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police to inspect truck with license plate 219.05.

The truck was transporting nearly 100 kg of animal organs, mainly pig intestines and livers, contained in foam boxes. The driver declared himself Vo Van Lam (born in 1973), residing in Quy Chau district. All of the above goods had no documents proving their origin or quarantine certificates.
According to the driver, the above animal organs were transported from Vinh City to Quy Chau for consumption.
The above goods have been seized and handled in accordance with the provisions of law.
