More than 10,000 watches seized at the motel

Police suddenly inspected Nguyen Dinh Hung's boarding house (Ngoc Ha ward, Ba Dinh, Hanoi) and discovered more than 10,000 wristwatches and 1,500 LED lights of unknown origin.

At noon on July 4, Ngoc Ha Ward Police coordinated with the Economic Police Team (Ba Dinh District Police, Hanoi) to inspect the rented room of Nguyen Dinh Hung (born 1992), address Ngoc Ha Ward, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

Through that, the working group discovered that Hung's house was storing a large number of foreign-made, unlabeled wristwatches of various types, along with many LED lights for motorbikes, all of which had no known origin.

Working with the working group, Nguyen Dinh Hung could not present invoices or documents to prove the origin of the above goods.

The working group made a record and conducted a preliminary count, finding more than 10,000 metal and leather strap watches of various types along with 1,500 LED lights to decorate bicycles and motorbikes.

The working group has drawn up a record, sealed and temporarily detained all the above goods, estimated to be worth more than 1 billion VND. The case is currently being further investigated by the investigation agency./.
