Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment inspects the sea dike system in Quynh Luu

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of December 23, a working delegation from the Ministry of Planning and Investment led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hieu inspected the sea dike system, storm shelters and coastal tourist routes in Quynh Luu district.

Also attending were comrade Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee; leaders of the Departments: Planning and Investment; Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The delegation inspected the district's sea dike system in Quynh Long commune, the storm shelter area in Quynh Thuan commune and the coastal tourist route.

The working group of the Ministry of Planning and Investment inspected the sea dike system of Quynh Long commune.

After the inspection, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the locality in building a new sea dyke system. The locality regularly pays attention to maintaining, repairing and upgrading damaged dykes to ensure safety for boats anchoring to avoid storms. The central investment projects have been promoted by Quynh Luu district and brought high efficiency in flood and storm prevention and safe gathering places for boats when the rainy and stormy season comes.

Through the inspection, representatives of participating ministries and branches will have orientations for capital investment in the period 2016 - 2020 for the district. At the same time, Quynh Luu district is required to continue to inspect and review the sunken sea dike sections to have timely remedial measures.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hieu also requested that localities ensure environmental sanitation on dykes and coastal tourist routes in the area./.
