Prime Minister appoints new General Director of Voice of Vietnam

Mr. Do Tien Sy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee was appointed to hold the position of General Director of Voice of Vietnam.

On June 9, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Do Tien Sy to the position of General Director of Voice of Vietnam (VOV).

Specifically, the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Do Tien Sy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Head of the 14th National Assembly Delegation of Hung Yen province to hold the position of General Director of the Voice of Vietnam. The decision takes effect from June 9.

Mr. Do Tien Sy was born in 1965; Hometown: Dinh Du Commune, Van Lam District, Hung Yen Province. Member of the Party Central Committee, 12th and 13th terms; Delegate of the 14th National Assembly.

Political theory level: Bachelor; Professional level: Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Mathematics Education.

Before holding the position of VOV General Director, Mr. Do Tien Sy held many positions: Deputy Secretary, Permanent Deputy Secretary, Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Council...

Previously, in Decision 858/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided that Mr. Nguyen The Ky - Member of the 12th Party Central Committee, ceased to hold the position of General Director of the Voice of Vietnam from June 1, 2021.
