Prime Minister sends letter of commendation for solemn organization of welcoming ceremony for U23 Vietnam
The solemn organization of the welcoming ceremony for U23 Vietnam showed deep affection, solidarity, and national pride, touching tens of millions of Vietnamese hearts.
On January 29, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter to the Hanoi Party Committee and People's Committee; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; the Ministry of Public Security; and the Vietnam Football Federation.

The Prime Minister's letter reads: "The U23 Vietnam football team's recent achievement as the Asian runner-up is a historic achievement for the country's sports, demonstrating the mettle and will of the Vietnamese people, and is the pride of the whole country, especially the young generation.
On January 28, 2018, we solemnly held a welcoming ceremony for the U23 Football Team in Hanoi, which was broadcast live to all parts of the country. Millions of people in the forest of colorful flags welcomed and followed the U23 Football Team from Noi Bai International Airport to the city center. The people of the capital cheered and welcomed very warmly, showing deep affection, solidarity, and national pride, touching tens of millions of Vietnamese hearts.
The Prime Minister hopes that the achievements, mettle and will of the Vietnam U23 Football Team will continue to be promoted and expanded in all fields and regions of the country, contributing to bringing our cause of building and defending the Fatherland firmly on the path of innovation, integration and development./.
