Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrives in Tokyo, beginning official visit to Japan
On the evening of November 22 local time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at Haneda International Airport, Tokyo, beginning an official visit to Japan at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio from November 22-25, 2021.

During his official visit to Japan, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is expected to hold talks with Prime Minister Kishida Fumio; meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President of the House of Councilors of Japan; receive leaders of political parties, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians' Union, a number of ministers and governors of Japanese localities; work with leaders of Japanese enterprises, business associations, universities, research institutions, etc.; witness the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between the two sides and attend the Vietnam-Japan investment promotion seminar; meet with officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community, and receive Vietnamese intellectuals in Japan, etc.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is the first foreign leader that Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio has received since he took office recently. This is also Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's first official visit to Japan, taking place in the context of the relationship between the two countries being at its best in history since the establishment of diplomatic relations, with high trust.
