Prime Minister donates to support people in Central Vietnam affected by storm
This morning (September 20), Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Ministers donated to support people in the Central provinces.

Storm No. 10, the strongest storm to hit the Central region in the past 10 years, killed many people and injured 215 others. The storm also caused heavy property damage with a total loss of about 11,000 billion VND.
Of these, 819 houses collapsed, mainly in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Thua Thien Hue provinces; over 11,000 houses were flooded; 192,000 houses had their roofs blown off or were damaged; 2 TV towers in Ky Anh town and Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh fell; over 2,850 electric poles fell and broke, causing widespread power outages; 8 fishing boats sank, 16,500 hectares of aquaculture area were damaged; over 11,000 hectares of rice and 8,200 hectares of crops were flooded; over 13,000 hectares of perennial crops and 6,000 hectares of fruit trees were broken, reducing productivity...

Previously, as soon as storm No. 10 entered the Central provinces, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc shortened his working trip in the Southern region to return to inspect, check and direct the recovery of damage caused by storm No. 10 in the Central provinces.
The Prime Minister worked with leaders of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh provinces and ministries to direct remedial measures such as providing rice to localities, promptly repairing public works, especially repairing damaged schools to bring students back to school soon; and soon restoring electricity to restore life and production./.
