According to the announcement on the afternoon of August 2 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the handling of the resignation application of Deputy Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa is under the authority of the Prime Minister to consider and decide.

​At noon on August 2, the Ministry of Industry and Trade officially announced that on July 28, 2017, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoa - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, submitted a resignation letter for personal reasons to the ministry's leaders.

The Ministry believes that according to current regulations, the handling of Deputy Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa's resignation request is under the authority of the Prime Minister to consider and decide after receiving opinions from the Secretariat and relevant agencies.

At the same time, the ministry also sent a document reporting to competent authorities to consider and resolve the petition of Deputy Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa.
