Prime Minister requests public posting of transportation fares

The Prime Minister requested to declare and post transportation fares, train and bus ticket prices according to regulations, and not to allow illegal ticket prices to be collected.

The Prime Minister has just issued a directive requesting the Ministry of Transport to direct agencies and functional units to develop specific plans and take measures to organize transportation to ensure good service for people's travel needs, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, and islands; to prevent people from not being able to celebrate Tet with their families due to lack of means of transportation.

Following the Prime Minister's directive, the Ministry of Transport will proactively coordinate with localities to inspect the declaration and posting of transport fares, train and bus ticket prices according to regulations, to prevent the collection of illegal fares; to continue to improve the method of selling train and bus tickets, to ensure that tickets are sold to the right people who need to travel during Tet; and to strictly handle acts of squeezing and speculating on train and bus tickets.

The Prime Minister requested to strengthen inspection and control of the quality and technical safety of vehicles participating in traffic, resolutely not allowing vehicles that do not ensure technical safety conditions to circulate on the road; take measures to prevent the illegal transportation of flammable and explosive goods, dangerous goods, livestock and poultry products of unknown origin and without medical quarantine certificates on means of transport, especially to and from epidemic areas.

The Prime Minister's Directive emphasizes the need to ensure safety conditions at traffic intersections, intersections between roads and railways, routes around schools, and locations with potential traffic safety risks; at the same time, deploy measures to overcome traffic congestion at key traffic locations, large cities, and festival venues; and provide timely rescue.
