Bonus for the task force that broke up the transnational drug ring

(Baonghean.vn)- On April 19, leaders of Que Phong and Nghia Dan districts came to congratulate and award officers and soldiers of Thong Thu Border Guard Station for their outstanding achievements in successfully destroying a drug trafficking ring from Laos to Vietnam.

Previously, after many months of monitoring and researching the subjects and methods of operation of the transnational drug crime ring from Laos to Vietnam (specializing in buying drugs from drug dealers in Sam Neua town - Hua Phan province to the center of Sam To district and then colluding with Vietnamese subjects to transport them across the border into Vietnam).

Thong Thu Border Guard Station reported to the provincial Border Guard Command to establish Project 352 LV in coordination with Hua Phan Provincial Police to fight and arrest Tho No Chu, 40 years old and Tho Va Giong, 45 years old when they were transporting drugs from Laos to Vietnam on April 17, 2016. At the scene, the authorities of the two countries seized 36 heroin cakes and 15,000 synthetic drug pills.

On this occasion, leaders of Que Phong and Nghia Dan districts awarded certificates of merit and bonuses of 10 million VND each to the officers and soldiers of Thong Thu Border Post.
