On the afternoon of December 28, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a regular meeting to evaluate the results of work in December 2020, draw experience from the 17th session and deploy key tasks in January 2021. Evaluating and drawing lessons from the session, members said that although it was the last regular session of the term, the session continued to be innovated, especially the question-and-answer session with the open question format, which contributed to raising awareness,responsibilityof provincial and local departments and branches.
The awareness and responsibility of the provincial People's Council delegates and guest delegates were also clearly demonstrated in the discussion of reports and draft resolutions submitted to the session with 92 delegates contributing their opinions.

The chairman of the session was flexibly implemented, assigning specific responsibilities to each sector and locality to continue to resolve issues that the people reflected and sent through the provincial People's Council delegates.question, discussed at the meeting.
Even when discussing and passing a resolution at a meeting, when there are different opinions, the meeting chair requests the sector assigned to preside over the drafting of the resolution and the leader of the Provincial People's Committee to explain and clarify.

In addition, some members also raised issues that need to be learned from to continue improving the quality of the Provincial People's Council meetings in the new term. For example, the proposal of the list of resolutions to be submitted to the meeting needs to be more proactive, avoiding additions that affect the review work of the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council committees.
Not many delegates have discussed and raised key, macro issues of the province, and at the same time, there have not been many proposals for solutions to promote or resolve the difficulties and problems that are arising.

The Offices of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council will be merged.
In addition to successfully organizing the 17th session, during the month, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council continued to monitor and urge all levels and sectors to resolve petitions.Complaint, citizen complaints and petitions.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council has issued 30 documents, forwarding 77 opinions and recommendations from citizens to departments, branches and localities for settlement according to their authority. Along with that, it has received 28 petitions, complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections from citizens related to land, construction, housing, regimes and policies, of which 16 petitions have been forwarded to relevant levels for settlement according to their authority.
Regarding the key tasks in January 2021 of the Standing Committee and committees of the Provincial People's Council, they will focus on implementing the tasks after the 17th session; focusing on issuing the Notice of conclusion of the question and answer session; synthesizing the content of the question proposals at the session of the Provincial People's Council delegates and sending them to the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments, branches and localities to study and answer.
