Nghe An tourism potential makes strong impression in Ho Chi Minh City
(Baonghean.vn) - On the sidelines of the Conference on promoting and promoting tourism investment in the Northwest region held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 23, the tourism potential of Nghe An province received special attention from delegates.
This is a conference organized by the Northwest Steering Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
The Northwest is a region with great potential for tourism development, home to more than 30 ethnic groups with a large cultural space, many unique cultural features, majestic landscapes, the homeland of xoe dances, many famous eco-tourism destinations such as: Dien Bien Phu (Dien Bien), Hung Temple (Phu Tho), Pac Bo (Cao Bang), Sapa (Lao Cai), Thac Ba Lake (Yen Bai), Mau Son (Lang Son), Pu Mat National Park (Nghe An), Kim Boi mineral spring (Hoa Binh), Dong Van Stone Plateau (Ha Giang)….

With such potential advantages, tourism linkage is an inevitable trend, highlighting and effectively promoting the potential strengths of the region, especially being linked and introduced in the potential market in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the Conference, the Organizing Committee arranged a separate space for 14 localities to introduce, promote and exchange information with each other to create a better tourism connection bridge in the coming time. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for localities in the Steering Committee to introduce and promote the image of tourist destinations, specialties and tourism programs to the Ho Chi Minh City market.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Tourism Promotion Information Center of Nghe An province introduced an overview of tourism; policies to attract investment, directions and goals for tourism development in the period 2011-2020; and proposed some contents on linkage and training of tourism human resources.
Nghe An also participated in introducing and displaying publications, tourist maps, tourism brochures, tourism films, folk song discs, investment projects in many languages; screening Nghe An tourism films on the sidelines of the Conference... These contents have attracted special attention from delegates.
This is also an opportunity to exchange information between Nghe An tourism and the Northwestern provinces and between Nghe An and Ho Chi Minh City.
