Contribute to opening up tourism

These days, when Cua Lo town reopened its tourism activities, many visitors were amazed by the transformation of a coastal tourist area. The first beautiful impression left in the hearts of visitors were the long stretches of sea daisy fields, the green, clean, beautiful campuses and the vibrant street music nights.

Contributing to that change, the youth of Cua Lo town plays an important role by pioneering the implementation of many programs and projects to accompany the local Party Committee and government in achieving the set goals.

Secretary of Cua Lo Town Youth Union Le Duc Sy said: Since the People's Committee of Cua Lo town launched the project "Conservation, development and promotion of sea daisies" for the period 2022 - 2025 with the goal of building sea daisies into a typical flower and one of the symbols of Cua Lo tourism, the grassroots youth unions have closely followed to plant, care for and propagate this flower variety. After only a short time of implementation, areas such as the natural flower hill south of Binh Minh Square, the Sea Daisy Park area and on some roads, agencies, schools, hotels and motels in the area have been covered with the yellow color of sea daisies.

In addition, the City Youth Union has organized many practical activities to promote and propagate tourism potential and new tourism models, typically: Launching the youth project e-book "Cua Lo - Ideal Destination"; coordinating the organization of the "Street Music" program with new and attractive performance forms and building "Street Food" youth booths to create highlights and novelty to attract visitors.

With the goal of building the image of young people to become tour guides, the Standing Committee of Cua Lo Town Youth Union coordinated with the Center for Culture, Sports and Communications of the town to organize the "Excellent tour guides and interpreters" contest in 2022. Thereby, to promote and introduce the locations, natural landscapes, people, cultural identity, and cuisine of the town to a large number of people at home and abroad. At the same time, a team of on-site tour guides was selected to serve as tour guides and interpreters at tourist routes and destinations in the town. These activities of the youth of Cua Lo town have contributed to affirming the role of young people in changing the perception of tourism in the new situation.

In the mountainous district of Con Cuong, to kick off the community tourism season, the district's youth have also joined together to create positive changes, such as organizing and establishing youth volunteer teams to support and serve tourists visiting and experiencing tourist attractions in the district. Establishing propaganda teams and youth volunteer teams to protect the environment in 13/13 communes and towns, especially at tourist destinations, contributing to protecting the green, clean, beautiful landscape and creating an impression in the hearts of tourists when coming here. At the same time, in order to realize the Resolution of the Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Con Cuong district for the term 2022 - 2027, the local Youth Union has gradually digitized and built a digital map of historical relics and tourist attractions in Con Cuong district.

Looking at the whole province, in their own way, Nghe An youth have been taking positive actions to contribute to building the province into an interesting and attractive destination in the eyes of friends near and far. This work has joined hands with the Party Committee, government and people to promote the local tourism potential in the most comprehensive way.

As Secretary of the Youth Union of the 2nd Fiber Factory of Hoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Company, Mr. Dao Tat Son (born in 1989) is an outstanding young man of the company with many initiatives that benefit the production line worth hundreds of millions of dong. Those initiatives have been awarded the Outstanding Initiative Award for practical application since 2020 by the Company's Innovation Council. At the same time, he is also the eldest brother who plays a leading role for young workers to strive to join the Party's ranks, gradually training themselves to improve discipline in labor production.

Dao Tat Son confided that in the current context, when the Covid-19 epidemic is still causing many negative impacts, many businesses have to stop or temporarily suspend operations, the company's Youth Union has boldly set specific criteria for the young workers, focusing on two criteria: solid skills and creative competition to increase production efficiency for the company.

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Luong affirmed that, facing the new development stage of the country, the youth force has advantages and opportunities but also faces many difficulties and challenges. Many new problems, new heavy and complicated requirements require the youth to constantly mature to contribute to the development of the homeland and the country.

The youth force is making changes in studying and working to contribute to the development of their homeland and country. Proof of that is that more than 8,000 young intellectuals volunteered to participate in rural and mountainous development in the period from 2017 to 2021. Nearly 1 million young union members carried out volunteer activities for social security, environmental sanitation, natural disaster response and recovery... In 2021 alone, the Youth Union at all levels carried out more than 5,670 youth projects and tasks at all levels with a total value of more than 87.6 billion VND. These are important contributions for the young generation to continue to strive and make efforts for the development of the community and society./.
