Midfielder Hoang Van Binh officially returns to Song Lam Nghe An

Midfielder Hoang Van Binh was born in 1989 in Quynh Luu. He is in the same generation as Trong Hoang and Au Van Hoan, players who have been promoted to SLNA's first team since 2007... He played for the Vietnam U20 team when he was only 18 years old.

In 2011, Hoang Van Binh was a member of the Vietnam U23 team participating in the SEA Games. During his time playing for SLNA, Van Binh lifted the Cup with the club 3 times (V.League 2011, National Cup 2010 and Super Cup 2011).

At the end of the 2013 season, Van Binh left SLNA to join B. Binh Duong and then played for FLC Thanh Hoa. At the Thanh team, Van Binh left a great impression under coach Pertrovic. However, when coach Nguyen Duc Thang joined FLC Thanh Hoa, Van Binh was not appreciated.

Receiving many attractive offers from other clubs, but in the end the former U23 Vietnam player decided to choose SLNA to play closer to his family.
