Revealing 5 national costumes for Miss Universe 2016 of Vietnam's representative

In order to find a traditional costume for the Vietnamese representative to participate in Miss Universe 2016, a contest was launched in July last year. Nearly 100 designs were sent to the organizing committee, including many creative and elaborate ideas. After the selection, evaluation and listening to the presentations from the contestants, the top 5 excellent costumes were found.

Contestant Nguyen Duc Hai's design, called "Phoenix Dance", is a striking red ao dai with many elaborate details and metal wings.

Contestant Pham Lam My brought a work inspired by Hue royal robes and porcelain mosaic art.

The costumes and accessories all show off skillful techniques but are not lacking in charm, flattering the wearer's figure.

Contestant Nguyen Huu Binh invested in a design called "Vietnamese Soul" based on the image of the conical hat of Hue.

In particular, contestant Thai Trung Tin had two costumes in the top 5, including "Mau Nghi" and "Nang May".

In the past few days, Le Hang has devoted all her energy to preparations. The beauty revealed that she only sleeps for 4-5 hours a day. After the photoshoot, she continues to attend catwalk and communication classes. The runner-up wants to make the most of her time studying. She will leave for the Philippines early in the morning of January 12.

The Miss Universe 2016 pageant will run from January 12 to 30 in the Philippines. The final will take place at 8am on January 30 (the third day of the Lunar New Year).
