The 14th Party Congress's Socio-Economic Subcommittee held its fourth session.
On the morning of March 13, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Economic and Social Subcommittee of the 14th National Party Congress, chaired the fourth meeting of the Subcommittee.
Attending the meeting were members of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister, leaders of ministries, branches, central agencies, leaders of localities who are members of the Subcommittee; Standing member of the Subcommittee's Editorial Board.
At the meeting, the Subcommittee focused on discussing the main contents of supplementing, updating and completing the draft Socio-Economic Report after the 10th Central Conference; carefully evaluating, discussing in depth, and agreeing on the content and orientation to continue the process of completing the draft Report to submit to competent authorities.
The draft Socio-Economic Report was commented on by the 10th Central Conference on September 2024. Recently, General Secretary To Lam had two meetings with the Standing Committee of the Subcommittee (a meeting with the Standing Committees of the Subcommittees on February 27, 2025 and a separate meeting with the Standing Committee of the Socio-Economic Subcommittee on March 6, 2025) to give comments on the direction to complete the draft Report.
Since the 10th Central Conference, the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat have issued many important resolutions and conclusions such as Resolution 57-NQ/TW, Conclusion 123-KL/TW, Conclusion 127-KL/TW, etc.
On March 11, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Socio-Economic Subcommittee met to evaluate and review the activities of the Subcommittee and draft the Socio-Economic Report.
Incorporating the Central Committee's opinions (at the 10th Central Committee Conference and the January 2025 Central Committee Conference); the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the meetings; closely following the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat; the conclusion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Head of the Subcommittee at the Subcommittee Standing Committee meeting on March 11, 2025, the Subcommittee Editorial Team has supplemented and completed the draft Socio-Economic Report.
