Destroy 400kg of dirty buffalo and cow viscera

(Baonghean.vn) - 400 kg of rotten buffalo and cow intestines were being transported to mountainous districts of Nghe An for sale when they were seized by the traffic police.

Information from the Thai Hoa Town Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station said that the unit has just destroyed according to regulations 400 kg of dirty buffalo and cow organs seized and handed over by Traffic Police Team 148.

Previously, at 9:30 a.m. on February 20, 2017, the working group of Traffic Police Team 148 was on duty at Km33, in Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town, inspecting truck with license plate 37C - 04851 driven by Phan Quoc Nam (born in 1991, residing in Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh).

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the vehicle was carrying 400 kg of rotten buffalo and cow viscera without any documents of origin.

The driver said he collected the above organs at slaughterhouses and then transported them to mountainous districts for consumption.
