Destroyed 5,200 chickens and nearly 450 kg of animal organs

On the afternoon of April 9, the Dien Chau District Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station destroyed poultry and animal organs found to have violated food safety regulations.

Previously, at around 10:20 p.m. on April 6, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station inspected passenger car with license plate 29B - 14638, driven by Mr. Nguyen The Hieu (residing in Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district).

The truck was carrying 65 cardboard boxes containing 5,200 breeding chickens. The driver was unable to produce documents proving the origin and quarantine certificates from the authorities for the poultry.

Next, at around 0:55 a.m. on April 9, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station continued to inspect truck with license plate 29H-08053, driven by Mr. Phan Van Tri Em (residing in Giong Trom district, Phuoc Long province) and seized 7 foam boxes containing nearly 450 kg of animal organs without quarantine certificates.

Dien Chau Traffic Police Station has drawn up a record and handed it over to Dien Chau Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station for destruction according to regulations./.
