Many bones found at the scene of the candy factory fire
Three victims trapped in a fire in Thanh Hoa have died. Firefighters found two skeletons in the rubble.
At 9:30 a.m. on December 25, Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Fire Police, said that rescue forces had just found two more skeletons at the scene of the fire at Trang An 3 Confectionery Company.
"One set is most likely male because of the silver necklace around their necks, while the other set may just be animal bones but needs to be examined," said Colonel Huy, adding that because the victims had been lying in the smoldering fire for many hours, their bodies were deformed, with only bones remaining.

Two bodies have been found, and one woman is still missing. Throughout last night and this morning, Thanh Hoa firefighting forces and an army artillery brigade used excavators and modern equipment to clean up the scene, trying to find the victims. Outside, many relatives were on standby, waiting for news.
“The fire was still smoldering inside the factory so water continued to be pumped in. Getting deeper into the factory was difficult,” said Colonel Huy.
Previously, at around 5:30 a.m. on December 24, a fire suddenly broke out in the confectionery factory of Trang An 3 Confectionery Joint Stock Company, located in Bac Son Industrial Park, Bim Son Town (Thanh Hoa). The fire quickly engulfed and burned down more than 4,000 m2factory
The initial cause of the fire was determined to be a gas explosion from the candy baking system.
