Body of missing man found while herding buffalo
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than 20 hours of searching, the body of a man who went missing while herding buffalo was found on a river near the area where he was identified as missing.

On the afternoon of August 31, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Thanh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan Commune, Thanh Chuong District, said that after more than 20 hours of searching, Mr. Tran Thanh's body was found on a river near the missing area.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the afternoon of August 30, Mr. Tran Thanh (residing in Xuan Hoa hamlet, Thanh Xuan commune, Thanh Chuong district) went to herd buffaloes in the fields near his house. At around 3:30 p.m. the same day, when he did not return home, his wife and children split up to look for him. When they reached the So wharf area, Ms. Ha (Mr. Thanh's wife) discovered her husband's clothes and sandals left on the shore.
Before that, Mr. Thanh's daughter, standing far away, saw her father swimming across the river. Suspecting that her husband had drowned, Ms. Ha called on her family, relatives, and neighbors to spread out to search for him.
The local authorities have handed over Mr. Thanh's body to his family for burial according to local customs.
