Body of woman suspected of jumping off Ben Thuy bridge found
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than a day of active searching, the body of a woman suspected of jumping off Ben Thuy 1 bridge to commit suicide was found by authorities.
Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on May 31, when people discovered a woman leaving her white electric bike on Ben Thuy 1 bridge (Vinh city) and suddenly jumping into Lam river, they informed the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Provincial Police) directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the river to mobilize forces and vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene and coordinate in searching for the victims.
At 5:00 a.m. on June 2, a body was found floating in Hung Hoa commune (Vinh city), about 4km from Ben Thuy bridge. Rescue forces proceeded to salvage it.
The identity of the woman who jumped off the bridge was identified as Ms. NTCT; born in 1977; residing in Le Mao ward, Vinh city.
