2.General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong receives 50-year Party membership badge

Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong presented the 50-year Party membership badge to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

On the afternoon of January 29, the Party Central Office Party Committee held a ceremony to award the 50-year Party membership badge to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong respectfully presented the 50-year Party membership badge to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Congratulating General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong said: With 50 years of honor in the ranks of the Communist Party of Vietnam, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; firmly maintained the spirit of a communist, steadfast in Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, steadfast in the goal of national independence and socialism; preserved revolutionary ethics, always promoted vanguard and exemplary behavior, constantly studied, cultivated and trained.

3. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with the Vietnam U23 team

After 7:00 p.m. on January 28, after many hours of effort traveling from Noi Bai Airport to the Government Office, the convoy carrying the players of the Vietnam U23 team arrived at the location to attend the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The meeting was scheduled to take place at 2 p.m., but due to the large number of fans waiting to welcome the team on all the streets of the capital, the convoy carrying coach Park Hang-Seo and his team could not move quickly. The convoy moved meter by meter through each street, amidst the welcome and joy of millions of Vietnamese fans.

Although 5 hours later than scheduled, the meeting between the Prime Minister and the Vietnam U23 team still took place in a joyful and warm atmosphere.

Attending the meeting chaired by the Prime Minister were Minister and Head of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien, and Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh.

The Vietnam U23 team is considered to be the ones who made history in the country's football, bringing joy and pride to the country.

4.National Assembly Chairman meets with press agencies

5.Mr. Le Phuoc Hoai Bao was suspended from work.

On the morning of January 30, a leader of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee said that the Provincial People's Committee had decided to temporarily suspend Mr. Le Phuoc Hoai Bao, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, to conduct review procedures and remove his name from the list of party members.

Previously, at the 20th session, the Central Inspection Committee concluded that Mr. Le Phuoc Hoai Bao - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, was dishonest in declaring his work history in his profile, personal history and personnel profile for the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2015-2020 term; had poor sense of organization and discipline; violated the Party's principles of organizing activities, skipped Party activities for many months, and did not transfer Party activities according to regulations during his time studying for a master's degree abroad.

6.Clarifying the case of Phu Quoc police "exposing" sex buyers and sellers in the middle of the street

On the afternoon of February 2, Colonel Pham Trung Thanh, Chief of Staff and spokesman of Kien Giang Provincial Police, said that the Provincial Police had just directed the Phu Quoc District Police to report on the clip of Duong Dong Town Police (Phu Quoc District) publicly revealing the identities of buyers and sellers of sex in front of a crowd.

Colonel Thanh said the case will be handled according to regulations, and when there are results, information will be provided to the press.

Previously, a clip appeared on social media recording the scene of Duong Dong Town police announcing the decision to punish 3 women for prostitution and 1 man for buying sex.
