"Senior intelligence officials believe that these allegations are not only exaggerated, but untrue. They have made it clear that this information is nonsense," Trump said.
Earlier, the New York Times published an article with information about the Russian Foreign Ministry calling various reports of the American media as further evidence of contacts between members of Donald Trump's election headquarters and Russian authorities.
Russia's foreign intelligence agency did not comment on the report. The Russian Foreign Ministry called the various reports in the US media further evidence of instability in the US political elite and big political games in the country.
