Provincial Youth Union opens the Festival "When I was 18"

Attending the event were comrade Doan Hong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hoang Mai town; representatives of the town's departments and branches. On the side of the Provincial Youth Union, there were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Luong, representatives of departments; representatives of the Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau District Youth Union units; and more than 2,000 union members and students in Hoang Mai town.

The activities are organized with practical and useful content; suitable and attractive forms, creating deep impressions for youth union members and students.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, there was a folk dance and martial arts performance to the music of "Nghe An Youth March" and "Nghe An Youth Spirit" by nearly 1,000 students of Hoang Mai High School and the "When I Was 18" contest with the theme "Creative students - future career".

The festival took place in 1 day with many activities: displaying creative products, making wall newspaper "When I am 18" for high school students in Hoang Mai town; admitting new members to the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Team Building "Creative Youth".

At the festival, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and Hoang Mai Town Youth Union presented gifts to 13 students with difficult circumstances who have strived to study well, each worth 500,000 VND; launched the writing contest "Beautiful stories at the age of 18"school year 2017 - 2018.
