(Baonghean.vn) - For nearly a month, the Youth Volunteer Team to respond to and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic of Thanh Giang Commune Youth Union (Thanh Chuong) has been diligently bringing homework to each student's house, helping poor students who do not have the conditions to study online to review their knowledge.

The Covid-19 epidemic has forced students to stay home from school. In rural areas, many students do not have access to information technology or online learning. Therefore, the school, in coordination with the Thanh Giang Commune Youth Union, has created homework and provided guidance on how to study at home for students. Thanh Giang Secondary School has 211 students in 4 grades. This form of learning applies to 9 subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, History, Geography, Civic Education, English, Biology). Students receive assignments on Tuesday afternoons and submit them every Saturday. Photo: Diep Phuong |

“Although we cannot listen to teachers lecture directly like online learning, doing exercises and self-study will promote exploration and enhance students' self-study ability. Thanks to the enthusiastic and thoughtful help of the Commune Youth Union volunteers, students' studying during the epidemic season has also been much more convenient," shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Tien - Principal of Thanh Giang Secondary School. In this way, teachers not only help students consolidate their knowledge during the time off at home due to the epidemic, but also help them see the spirit of care and concern of the whole community for children in difficult areas. Photo: Diep Phuong |
