Speaking after the match with the home team, coach Hoang Anh Tuan said: "Before today's match, we set a goal of winning all 3 points to be present at the finals next year. In the first half, we played well, but in the second half, the home team regained control of the game, created a lot of pressure and scored 1 goal.
In this match, some of our players still lost focus. I am only satisfied with the 3 points we won. "On behalf of U19 Vietnam, I would like to thank the Vietnamese fans once again for coming to the stadium to support the players. We felt like we were playing at home. That was a great encouragement in the last 2 matches of U19 Vietnam."
