Seminar to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the State Organization sector's tradition day

At the seminar, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the State Organization sector and its contributions to the revolutionary cause, building and defending the Fatherland.

The speech presented by comrade Le Dinh Ly - Director of the Department of Home Affairs reviewed the tradition.75 years of establishment and development of the Home Affairs sector, as well as the achievements of the Department of Home Affairs of Nghe An province in recent years.

Through historical periods with changes in organization, name, functions and tasks, the provincial Department of Home Affairs has continuously innovated and developed; always fulfilling the functions and tasks assigned by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee.

In particular, in recent years, the Department of Home Affairs has advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to focus on leading, directing and drastically implementing Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (12th term). Up to now, the whole province has reduced 4 branches, 10 focal points at the department level of administrative agencies at the provincial and district levels; reduced 183 public service units, 387 internal organizations and 183 heads and deputy heads of service units.

Advise on the effective implementation of the Central Government's policies and projects on the rearrangement of administrative units at the commune, hamlet, block, and village levels; after the rearrangement, 20 commune-level administrative units and 2,082 hamlets, blocks, and villages were reduced.

Carry out the workstreamliningAccording to Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP dated November 20, 2014 of the Government, from 2015 to now, the whole province has had 3,128 people benefiting from the policy, with an amount of nearly 386 billion VND. The salary regime, rank promotion, transfer of civil servant ranks, and promotion of professional titles of civil servants are implemented promptly, ensuring the rights of civil servants and public employees.

In addition, some important areas such as state management of religion are increasingly ensured, some complicated cases related to religion are promptly resolved; the field of state management of rewards is put into order; the field of documents and archives has basically achieved good results... contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development goals of the province.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Home Affairs awarded the "For the cause of the State Organization Sector" Medal to 40 individuals in the province; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 11 individuals; the Director of the Department of Home Affairs awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the emulation movement to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the State Organization Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2020).
