At the meeting, the Subcommittee members basically agreed with the draft Reports that had been supplemented and edited, and continued to contribute opinions to further perfect the draft documents.

Attending the meeting were members of the Subcommittee: Politburo member, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Politburo member, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; many Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, leaders of departments, ministries, branches, central agencies and members of the Editorial Team.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Head of the Editorial Team presented the Report on receiving and explaining the Editorial Team's opinions on the Central Committee's opinions and the Report on receiving and explaining the Politburo's opinions at the 11th Central Conference to complete the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress and the Report on 10 years of implementing the 2011 Platform.
At the meeting, the Subcommittee members basically agreed with the draft Reports that had been supplemented and revised, and continued to contribute opinions to further perfect the draft Political Report (full and summary), the draft Report on 10 years of implementing the 2011 Platform, focusing on new contents on the Congress's theme and motto; the situation and experiences drawn after 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 12th Congress; viewpoints and guiding thoughts; development goals and orientations; orientations for continuing to innovate key sectors and fields; key tasks and strategic breakthroughs.
The Document Subcommittee acknowledged and welcomed the efforts of the Editorial Team in promptly and seriously absorbing and completing the draft documents, meeting the set goals and requirements; reviewing and editing both content and form, clarifying the connotation of concepts, contents, and issues, ensuring consistency and better suitability in terms of development goals and strategic breakthroughs; filtering, synthesizing, and proposing some contents that need to be focused on for discussion at the grassroots party congress.
The Document Subcommittee requested the Editorial Team to seriously absorb the opinions of the Subcommittee members, promptly complete the draft documents, especially the summary of the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress, and seek the Politburo's opinion in time to serve the grassroots party congress in early March.

The Document Subcommittee requests that the Subcommittee members and the Editorial Team continue to closely coordinate with the Socio-Economic Subcommittee and the Party Charter Implementation Subcommittee to seriously listen to, study and filter the comments of Party congresses at all levels and the people, especially the comments of former Party and State leaders, scientists, managers, etc. to continue to improve and enhance the quality of the draft Political Report, ensuring that it is at the right level of a central report to be presented to the 13th National Party Congress.
After listening to 18 comments, General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, Head of the Document Subcommittee, concluded the meeting, welcoming the Editorial Team for their recent promptness, positivity, and thorough synthesis and absorption of the Central Committee's comments, editing and supplementing, perfecting the draft documents, ensuring compliance with the proposed program and plan. The members of the Subcommittee participated actively and responsibly, contributing many comments on each field, wording, concept, etc.
General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong requested the Editorial Team to continue perfecting the draft reports, submitting them to the Politburo for comments, promptly serving the grassroots party congresses; at the same time, continuing to promote democracy, listening, respecting contributions, filtering to study, supplement and perfect the draft documents. Issues that are clear, mature, proven correct by practice, and highly unanimous should be included in the document, while issues with different opinions, unclear, and immature should continue to be studied and discussed. The motto is to gradually perfect them in a truly democratic spirit, truly listening. Difficult issues such as topics, goals, breakthroughs, high and low evaluations, etc., with different opinions, need to continue to be studied to find answers in practice, listening to the common voice of the majority.
In the process of completing, supplementing and improving the quality of draft documents, it is necessary to update new situations so that the documents are both summary and general, political and ideological, and inspirational.
General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong noted that the Editorial Board needs to listen, respect, and promote the intelligence of experts and scientists with in-depth knowledge in each field. The Political Report is the central report; other reports and thematic reports must be consistent with the central report. Therefore, the Documents Subcommittee needs to coordinate closely with the Socio-Economic Subcommittees and the Party Charter Subcommittee to create high consensus and unity. Comments and assessments must be general and have a vision summarizing 35 years of innovation and 10 years of implementing the 2011 Platform for Supplementation and Development./.
