The decisions take effect from July 1. The functions, tasks, and organizational structure of provincial and municipal Party Committees are prescribed by the Politburo.
Provincial and Municipal Party Committees shall preside over and coordinate with relevant Party Committees, agencies and organizations to lead, direct and implement the arrangement, transfer and reception of Party organizations and Party members; arrange and assign cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers; arrange working offices, manage finances, assets, records, documents, collect and submit seals and other related issues after the merger according to regulations.
