Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visits and presents gifts to families of policy beneficiaries on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022) and the 93rd anniversary of the Founding Day of Vietnam Trade Unions (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2022), the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by comrade Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the General Confederation, visited and presented gifts to war invalids and martyrs' relatives in Nghe An.

On this occasion, comrade Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the General Confederation presented gifts to 2 families, including: Martyr Nguyen Tai Dung - former member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Chairman of the Trade Union of Industry and Trade; Family of War Invalids Le Van Long -War invalid1/4, Hamlet 3, Hung Dao Commune, Hung Nguyen District. Each gift includes a gift and 5 million VND in cash.

Expressing deep gratitude to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families of policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the anniversary ofWar invalids and martyrs,Comrade Phan Van Anh hopes that families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, take care of their health and be good examples for their children and grandchildren to learn from and follow.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, comrade Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation presented gifts and 1 million VND in cash to the family of Martyr Nguyen Tai Dung and the family of War Invalids Le Van Long.

During the working program, the delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also laid wreaths and offered incense at the Monument.Vietnam - Laos Martyrs Cemetery(Anh Son district), gratitude to the country's outstanding children who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
