Meeting Ms. Thoan in an extracurricular activity to promote the homeland's sea and islands in the form of ringing the golden bell, I was able to feel the enthusiasm and dedication of this always lively and active teacher.
She not only took on the role of general activities, preparing and staging the performances, working with teachers to compile questions, but also acted as an attractive MC, attracting a large number of students to participate.
Ms. Thoan said: I came to the teaching profession as a destiny and took on the role of team leader as a chance. Until now, I am always proud and happy to do this job.
To create activities and games that attract students to participate is not a simple thing. So, Ms. Thoan always strives to create more games, dances, and better and more diverse ways of doing things.
First of all, it was her eagerness to learn and her passion for the movement that motivated her greatly. If she did not understand something, she would ask her teachers, refer to good models and activities of other schools, through books, newspapers, and the internet to be able to flexibly apply them to the reality of her school.
In recognition of her contributions to the team movement, Ms. Thoan has received many certificates of merit at all levels, including 7 times receiving Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union; Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in the 2013-2014 school year; being commended by the District Labor Federation as a typical "2 good" in the period 2010-2015. Every year she has achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level. Most recently, she received a Certificate of Merit from the Central Youth Union in the 2015-2016 school year; the Provincial Team Council for her outstanding achievements as a Team Leader. |
She proactively asked the school for advice on equipment and props for activities. Ms. Thoan said: Such a one-time investment is both synchronous and very rich, serving many activities. There is no need to rent or borrow, so it is less costly for the school and students.
Currently, in the school's team room, there are more than 200 costumes of all kinds, from ao dai, ba ba, tu than to school uniforms, and dozens of rich supporting props.
Among them, there are many items that she created herself, such as rice drums made from cardboard, clothes recycled from waste paper; banyan trees and suns are all shaped very eye-catchingly by her.
The team movement of Nghia Hoi Primary School is always considered to be the top in Nghia Dan district, with Ms. Thoan being a typical core member. Accordingly, every month there are programs that are suitable with the key content of major holidays of the locality and the country.
For example, on Dien Bien Phu victory day and the liberation of the South on April 30, there was “We learn to be soldiers”; the homeland sea and island program was staged, and the golden bell was rung. On March 8 and October 20, there were cooking competitions, flower arrangements, and Vi Giam folk song singing competitions, and here, there were also young talents who performed very well the melodies of their homeland…
