The Government Inspector General will become Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee.
The National Assembly Chairman said the Politburo has agreed to let Mr. Phan Van Sau resign from his duties as Inspector General to hold the position of Secretary of Soc Trang.
On the afternoon of October 24, opening the personnel work, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said that due to work requirements, the Politburo assigned Mr. Truong Quang Nghia - Minister of Transport to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.
"The Politburo agreed to let Mr. Phan Van Sau resign from the position of Government Inspector General to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term," Ms. Ngan said.
Next, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented to the National Assembly the dismissal of Minister of Transport Truong Quang Nghia and Government Inspector General Phan Van Sau.
After being dismissed, the Prime Minister will submit to the National Assembly a new personnel plan to replace him.

Having studied at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Mr. Sau has held many positions at the grassroots level such as Director of An Giang Mechanical Company; Deputy Director of Antraco Construction Stone Mining and Processing Joint Venture Company; Director of the Department of Trade and Tourism, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of An Giang province; Secretary of Chau Doc City Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Organization Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee. From October 2010 to September 2015, he was Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee; from October 2015 to April 2016, he was Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission and held the position of Government Inspector General from April 2016. |
