According to two lawyers Chems-eddine Hafiz and Basile Ader, the file related to this case has been closed and the case has also achieved certain results, showing the President's strong move.

The complaint came after Le Monde on April 5 published an article titled “The Secret Service of the Head of State” related to the “Panama Papers” case, with a picture of President Bouteflika on the front page.

However, the main content of the article did not mention President Bouteflika's name and there was no connection between the Algerian head of state and the above incident.

On April 7, the director of Le Monde newspaper, Mr. Jerome Fenoglino, sent a letter to the Algerian Embassy in France, expressing regret about the inappropriate approach of the article when President Bouteflika's name was not mentioned in the "Panama Papers"./.
