According to him, the US government has information that at the Chinese Consulate General, employees burned documents and other papers.
On July 21, the United States ordered the Chinese Consulate General in Houston to close within three days. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo explained that this was because China was actually carrying out large-scale theft of US intellectual property, causing huge damage to the US economy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China later stated that this was not in accordance with international law. In addition, it was learned that the Chinese Embassy in Washington had received threats of violence due to hatred.
China is reportedly considering closing the US Consulate in Wuhan in response to the request to close its embassy in Houston.
