US President calls on Russia to help fight IS terrorist organization
Reuters reported that on November 22, US President Barack Obama declared that the US and its allies will fight relentlessly against the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) and will hunt down its leaders and cut off its financial resources.

Responding to a press conference after meeting with Asian leaders at ASEAN, Mr. Obama stated: "Destroying IS is a realistic goal, we will accomplish this goal. We will destroy them. We will take back the territory they control, cut off their financial sources, hunt down their leaders, disrupt their networks and supply sources."
According to President Obama, it would be "helpful" if Russia focused its efforts on fighting IS.
He expressed hope that Moscow would agree to a leadership transition in Syria, whereby President Bashar al-Assad would step down./.
