US President: Russian plane crash in Egypt likely caused by bomb
According to Independent, in an interview with CBS News, US President Barack Obama said it was "possible" there was a bomb on the A321 passenger plane of Russian airline Kogalymavi that crashed last week.

"I think there is a possibility that there was a bomb on the plane. And we take this very seriously," President Obama said in an interview.
US Congressman Michael McCaul also said that the evidence so far shows that the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) group bombed the Russian passenger plane over Egypt's Sinai Peninsula last week.
Previously, the Egyptian and Russian governments had rejected the hypothesis of British and American security officials that the plane had been bombed./.
