Russian President Putin to visit China next month
(Baonghean.vn) - According to RT, the Russian leader will go to Beijing to meet with Mr. Xi Jinping.

Nikolai Patrushev - Secretary of the Russian Security Council, revealed on September 19 that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing next month.
The summit will take place during the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation scheduled for October. China has previously confirmed the attendance of about 90 countries at the event, including foreign leaders such as Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Argentine President Alberto Fernandez.
During a meeting in Moscow with China’s top diplomat Wang Yi on September 19, Patrushev stressed that relations between Russia and China are built on the principles of mutual respect, non-interference in each other’s internal affairs, and mutual support in the international arena. He stressed that these relations “are beneficial to themselves and are not affected by external conditions.”
Patrushev also affirmed Moscow's commitment to supporting Beijing on a number of issues related to Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong. He pointed out that Western powers are exploiting these topics to undermine China's prestige.
“In the context of the ongoing campaign launched by the West to contain both Russia and China, deepening Russian-Chinese coordination and interaction on the international stage is of particular importance,” Patrushev said.
For his part, Wang Yi stressed that Beijing remains committed to supporting Moscow in their bilateral partnership and within the framework of international forums. He asserted that China and Russia are at a turning point in the process of national rejuvenation and state development.
Political and economic cooperation between Russia and China has increased significantly in recent years, especially amid escalating tensions between Moscow and Western countries, primarily over the conflict in Ukraine. Beijing has refused to comply with Western sanctions against Russia. Meanwhile, Moscow has begun to shift its focus to the East due to its strained relations with the West.
