"Despite the restoration of economic growth, this pace is not enough for people in all regions and social strata to feel that we are no longer one of the poorest countries in Europe," "Economic Truth" quoted the Ukrainian leader.
Mr Poroshenko also commented on the next increase in fuel taxes in Ukraine.
According to him, such measures are inevitable in order to receive a new tranche of funds from the International Monetary Fund. Since November 1, the price of green fuel in Ukraine has increased by 23.5%. According to the Ukrainian cabinet, gas prices will continue to increase.
According to the World Bank's Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova, Satu Kahkonen, Ukraine needs another 100 years to catch up with its European neighbors.
