President Putin affirms Russia will win the special military campaign
(Baonghean.vn) - At his annual year-end press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will win the special military campaign and there is currently no need for a second wave of new recruits.

During the four hours, President Putin answered more than 70 questions and requests, talked about the successes of the Russian economy, special military operations, foreign policy, and called on everyone to believe in the great Russian people.
On the economic front, President Putin said that the Russian economy has recovered from last year's downturn and is moving forward. This year, GDP is expected to grow by 3.5%, real wages by 8%, and real incomes by about 5% per year. The unemployment rate in the country has dropped to 2.9% - something that has never happened in the history of Russia. However, inflation may rise to 7.5-8% by the end of the year, and the Central Bank and the government are taking the necessary measures.
One of the main topics of the press conference was the special military operation, President Putin said that the goal of the operation has not changed, which is to demilitarize and defascize Ukraine and demand its neutral status. Mr. Putin affirmed that "there will be peace" when Russia achieves its goals. Currently, Kiev "has not succeeded anywhere", while the Russian army "along the entire front line is improving its positions".
"I am sure that victory will be ours," President Putin affirmed.
In response to public concerns about a second wave of military mobilization, President Putin stressed that under current conditions, this is not necessary. On average, 1,500 people sign contracts with the Ministry of Defense every day. Together with volunteers, there are currently 486 thousand soldiers participating in the military campaign.

Answering questions from military commanders about the situation in the area of the village of Krynki, on the left bank of the Dnieper River, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to make a breakthrough, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces Vladimir Putin showed how well he knows the situation.
"After the failure of the counteroffensive, Krynki was the last attempt of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break through to the left bank of the Dnieper River and head towards Crimea. Artillery was pounding this narrow area, and the Russians retreated into the open forest to protect their personnel. The Ukrainians entered a small area. I don't even know why they did this, pushing their soldiers to the point of destruction. The Russians suffered two, three or four medical casualties, while the Ukrainians lost dozens of people," said President Putin.
In Putin's view, Kiev is pushing soldiers to death for political reasons. While President Zelensky "goes around begging".
When asked what he would say if he could meet himself in 2000, President Putin shared: "You are on the right track. And I would warn myself not to be naive and overly trusting regarding so-called partners."
Finally, the Russian leader emphasized: "We must believe in the great Russian people. This belief is the key to success in the revival, formation and development of Russia"./.
