President Putin: The West will get tired of sanctions against Russia
Russian leader Putin said that the West would suffer the consequences of imposing sanctions on Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has told Russian business leaders that Western countries will become “tired” of their own sanctions against Russia, warning that the bans will eventually backfire.

Speaking at a meeting of the Russian Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on February 9, Russian President Putin stressed that restrictive policies generally put an end to international relations, leading to lost opportunities and causing direct losses, including for those who initiated such policies.
However, the Russian president expressed hope that the West's relations with Russia would soon improve.
The meeting of the Russian Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs produced reports addressing the concerns of the Russian elite about the impact of sanctions on the Russian economy as well as the prospects for business cooperation with the West.
