President Putin reveals secrets of family life

(Baonghean.vn)- On June 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed a few secrets about his family life. For the first time, the Russian leader confirmed that he has two children, and he feared that being honest about this issue could deprive his two children of a normal life.

Speaking during his 15th online town hall, Russian President Putin said: “I have two children. They are leading a normal life.” He said a daughter is studying in “kindergarten,” and a newborn son.

However, he did not want to name his grandchildren, because he did not want them to grow up as members of the royal family, but as ordinary people. “If I mention their names, they will be recognized and will never be at peace. It will ruin their development. I hope you will understand,” the Russian president stressed.

The Russian president said his daughters all live in Moscow, and work in science and education. He said “they do not interfere in anything, including politics”.

President Putin divorced his wife, Lyudmila, in 2014, and she has not been seen in public since. There has been no information about his private life since then, but his official tax returns do not mention the Russian leader's wife.
