President Zelensky wants to hold Ukraine summit in November
Ukrainian President Zelensky said he will hold a summit on Ukraine on November 2.

According to RIA Novosti, during his visit to France, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated his intention to hold a second summit on Ukraine in November.
"The next peace summit will be held in November, the plan will be put on the table. I don't know the exact date, I think no one knows at the moment, but we will prepare everything that we have decided. From the very beginning in November, all the details of the plan will be available" - the recording of President Zelensky's speech was published on the official account of the Elysee Palace on the social network X on October 10.
Earlier, on October 8, adviser to the Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine, Daria Zarivnaya, said that the second summit on Ukraine will not take place in November, but by this time everything should be done to prepare for it.
Also on October 10, speaking to the press, the Chairman of the Russian Senate said that Russia has no intention of attending Ukraine's peace summits because it considers these events meaningless.
“What is the point of these summits? The first one failed miserably, the second one planned by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also be empty and worthless. This is not about peace, not about negotiations, not about ending confrontation,” Valentina Matviyenko, speaker of the Russian upper house of parliament, told reporters.
Ms. Matviyenko added that Russia has absolutely no interest in whether the summit will be held or not, as it does not participate in such meetings. “We do not see any point in them,” Ms. Matviyenko said.
The first Ukraine peace summit was organized by Switzerland in June 2024 at Kiev's request and did not invite Russia. Ukraine then planned to organize the second summit with Russia's participation in November.
