NATO Secretary General Announces Next Target If Ukraine Wins
(Baonghean.vn) - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the US will focus on China if Ukraine wins the conflict with Russia.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that if Ukraine succeeds in its conflict with Russia, this will allow the US to focus all its efforts on China.
Meanwhile, Russia has repeatedly stated that NATO's direct intervention in the conflict in Ukraine would have negative impacts and would not promote peace negotiations.
“If the United States is worried about the challenge of China, it needs to ensure victory for Ukraine. If Ukraine wins, you will have the second largest army in Europe. This will make it easier for you to focus on China, and less worried about the security situation in Europe,” NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a forum, within the framework of the United Nations General Assembly.
NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg also explained that the purpose of his presence at the UN General Assembly was to ensure support for Ukraine.
“One of my goals on this trip is to ensure a good platform to hold discussions, to mobilize support for Ukraine. And that has been mentioned in most of my meetings here,” Mr. Stoltenberg said.
According to Secretary General Stoltenberg, NATO members and partner countries “recognize that supporting Ukraine is a way to ensure our own security.”
Earlier, in an editorial in China's Global Times, it was said that the US had crossed a red line by providing military support to Taiwan. Beijing affirmed that it would respond, and would not limit itself to simple statements.
In early September, the Biden administration announced it would provide Taiwan with its first military aid under the Foreign Military Financing Program.
“This means that the US has once again crossed the red line in interfering in the Taiwan issue. The US is gradually destroying the One China principle. Beijing cannot ignore this smoldering interference,” the Global Times wrote.
