Top 10 records of Vietnam's sea and islands 2016
Hoang Sa - Truong Sa is the archipelago with the largest, longest, widest, deepest, farthest space, and the most rocky islands.
On May 4, the Vietnam Record Organization announced 10 records in response to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week (June 1-8), World Environment Day (June 5) and World Ocean Day (June 8).
Among them, Hoang Sa - Truong Sa is the archipelago with the largest, longest, widest, deepest, farthest space, and has the most rocky islands. Hoang Sa archipelago is located in a sea area of about 15,000 km2, while Truong Sa archipelago is 160,000 - 180,000 km2.
This is also the Vietnamese archipelago that is drawn the most on ancient and modern maps in the country and internationally. From 1525 to 1886, there were about 50 maps depicting Vietnam with its continental shelf and the East Sea, including Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

The Hoang Sa Soldiers' Commemoration Festival is the only traditional festival that has existed since ancient times and describes the hardships and heroic circumstances of Vietnamese soldiers guarding the sovereignty of the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands. The festival is held at Hoang Sa Temple in An Vinh village, An Hai commune, Ly Son district, Quang Ngai province on the 20th day of the second lunar month.
Tra Co Beach is the longest beach in Quang Ninh province, 9 km by road from Mong Cai city center. With a length of 17 km, an area of about 170 ha in a circular shape, the beach stretches from Got Cape in the north to Ngoc Cape in the south.

Nam Yet Marine Protected Area is the largest marine protected area in Vietnam with an area of 35,000 hectares, located in Truong Sa district, Khanh Hoa province. This area has a large coral island area and has a tropical climate characteristic of the southern East Sea.

After nearly 30 years, he has produced 221 films about the country and people of Vietnam's coastal and island regions in 3 genres: television series, feature films and documentaries.
