There are three rounds left in the Premier League and the gap between Leicester and Tottenham has widened to seven points. This means,Leicester will win the Premier League if they beat Man Utd this Sunday. A first ever title, at home to a team with 20 English titles, would be the perfect end to Leicester's fairytale.
Tottenham, the Foxes' only rival, could not maintain their winning streak despite playing against a team that was already guaranteed to stay in the league. West Brom, who have only one point in their last five games, were expected to be defeated at White Hart Lane. But the visitors did exactly what manager Tony Pulis had said before the match: raise the flag for the competition in the league.
Tottenham took an early lead when Craig Dawson scored an own goal. But the West Brom defender made up for his mistake in the second half by scoring the equalizer. From a corner kick, Dawson pressed well, got rid of his marker and headed into an empty net. Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris came out but instead of punching the ball, he punched his teammate Eric Dier.
Things got worse for Tottenham when Eric left the pitch with concussion. Spurs could lose Dele Alli, the Premier League's best young player, if the FA investigates him for the incident in which he punched Yacob in the face.

Tottenham had an unlucky day, hitting the crossbar and the post three times. First was Harry Kane's close-range shot in the first half, which hit the West Brom goalkeeper's hand and then hit the post. Next was Christian Erikssen's free-kick and then Erik Lamela's shot.
The referee also disallowed a penalty from the home team, when the ball touched Chris Evans' hand in the penalty area.
Having more possession, dominating the game, creating more chances, Tottenham could only score one goal from an own goal. Mauricio Pochettino and his team could only blame themselves for wasting their chances. Tottenham only had two shots on target, despite creating 19 shots.
The disappointing draw left Spurs 7 points behind Leicester and almost no chance of competing for the championship as the season has only 3 more rounds to end.
