Vinh City welcomes cyclists of stage 6 of the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 3, the racing team competing for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup reached the finish line, ending stage 6 in Vinh City.
Celebrating the 43rd anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2018), the 30th Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup Cycling Race "Non song lien mot doi" officially kicked off on March 29 in Lang Son City.
The tournament is expected to end on April 30, 2018 after 30 stages, with a total race length of 3,267km.

In stage 6, the race team started from Thanh Hoa at 7am and finished in Vinh city. Under the enthusiastic cheers of Vinh city fans, racer Le Nguyet Minh excellently finished first, followed by racer Le Van Duan and Mai Nguyen Hung. Rider Huynh Thanh Tung continued to defend the overall yellow jersey.

At this stage, the racing team awarded 25 scholarships to poor but studious children in the area, each gift worth 2 million VND.

Tomorrow (April 4), the racing team will compete in stage 7 from Vinh City to Dong Hoi City.
