Answering a question from his 'virtual version', the Russian President affirmed that 'I like being unique Putin'
(Baonghean.vn) - At a recent live Q&A event, Russian President Vladimir Putin denied rumors that he employs lookalikes. The leader told the audience that he prefers to be “unique.”

According to RT, during a live Q&A session on December 14 (local time), the Russian President answered a question from his "copy" created by artificial intelligence (AI), affirming that there should only be one person who looks and speaks like Vladimir Putin.
The source said a person calling himself a “student from St. Petersburg” used a computer-generated image that looked almost identical to Vladimir Putin to ask the Russian president to comment on rumors that he used a body double. They also wanted him to comment on the dangers of artificial intelligence.
President Putin appeared quite surprised when he had to answer a question from a virtual version of himself, saying that he likes being Putin "unique".
"You look like me, you speak with my voice. But I thought and decided that there should be only one person who looks like me and uses my voice. And that person should be me," the Russian President said. Mr. Putin described the artificial intelligence version as his "first clone".
The Kremlin has repeatedly denied speculation by media outlets such as The Mirror (UK) that the Russian president uses a body double. The Russian president's spokesman Dmitry Peskov once ridiculed it as "nonsense, nonsense".
Asked about the dangers of artificial intelligence (AI) and whether one should be afraid of it, Putin said that it is impossible to stop the development of this technology or prevent the creation of super-intelligent artificial intelligence that can learn to feel, distinguish scents and acquire cognitive functions.
Since it cannot be stopped, Mr. Putin believes that Russia must become a leader in this technology, or at least do everything in its power to become one of the global leaders in this direction.
However, the Russian president admitted that it was impossible to predict the outcome of this issue. He noted that while it is important to discuss restrictions and regulations regarding the development of artificial intelligence so that it does not become a threat to humanity, any agreement between technology leaders will be difficult to reach, until this technology begins to pose a real threat.
