Responding to voters' petitions on the golf course, hotel and villa complex project in Cua Lo town
(Baonghean.vn) - Voters of Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo town reported that the Cua Lo golf course project disrupts the town's urban planning and has not brought about socio-economic efficiency for the locality, many items have not been implemented. Propose that the Provincial People's Committee inspect and handle the content that voters have proposed.

- The Golf Course, Hotel and Villa Complex Project in Cua Lo Town, invested by Cua Lo Sea Golf Joint Stock Company, was granted Investment Certificate No. 27111000009 by the Provincial People's Committee on April 27, 2007; first adjustment on October 31, 2007; second adjustment on February 10, 2011; third adjustment on October 7, 2013; fourth adjustment on May 31, 2014.
- The project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for detailed construction planning/adjustment of detailed construction planning in Decisions No.: 476/QD-UBND.CN dated February 2, 2007; 1698/QD-UBND.CN dated April 27, 2010; 3166/QD-UBND dated July 24, 2018; 168/QD-UBND dated January 20, 2021; 3172/QD-UBND dated August 27, 2021.

- The project was allocated land and leased land by the Provincial People's Committee in Decisions No. 509/QD-UBND.DC dated November 5, 2007; 292/QD-UBND.DC dated September 25, 2008; 293/QD-UBND.DC dated September 25, 2008; 294/QD-UBND.DC dated September 25, 2008; 225/QD-UBND.DC dated June 22, 2009; 286/QD-UBND.DC dated October 25, 2011; 287/QD-UBND.DC dated October 25, 2011; 02/QD-UBND dated January 7, 2019.
• Inspection and handling status
- In 2016, the above Project was inspected by the Inspection Team chaired by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In Document No. 1590/UBND-CN dated March 16, 2017, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to handle violations of the project and advise on handling according to the provisions of the law on land.
- In 2022, the Provincial People's Committee issued Documents No. 1952/UBND-CN dated March 24, 2022 and No. 2729/UBND-CN dated April 19, 2022 assigning the Department of Construction to inspect and report on contents related to the Project. Based on the inspection results, working with investors and relevant agencies, the Department of Construction reported to the Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 2134/SXD-BC dated June 20, 2022.

- On August 8, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 5983/UBND-CN directing the content of adjusting the project progress: assigning the Department of Planning and Investment to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to advise on the time and procedures for adjusting the project implementation progress.
On the basis of receiving the Investor's application for adjustment of the Investment Certificate submitted at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, the Department of Planning and Investment is coordinating with the Department of Construction, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Finance, Tax Department and People's Committee of Cua Lo town on the relevant contents of the Project; at the same time, there have been documents urging the investor to fulfill financial obligations to the State budget to have a basis for synthesizing and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.
